Transferring Unused Tickets
For those who do not know, the university ticket office has made it easier to transfer unused tickets.

"Introducing a new online account feature to transfer your unused tickets to friends and family!
Step 1: Sign In
When transferring tickets online, SIGN IN using your Customer # and your personally selected password.
Step 2: Transfer to Friends and Family Online
» When you transfer your unused tickets online, your friends and family will receive an email with print-at-home tickets.
» No more mailing tickets or meeting face-to-face for an exchange.
Step 3: Print-at-Home Tickets
For the online ticket transfer option, please use the print-at-home feature. The print-at-home feature will allow instant receiving of tickets via email and bypass will call lines at the game."

It's better to transfer them to people who would not otherwise attend the game. Not that I haven't done it, but giving, or selling, tickets to scalpers keeps prospective ticket-buyers away from the ticket windows, thereby costing our program money. Moreover, as people get the idea that they can walk up on game day and buy cheap tickets (or even receive free ones), the less likely they are to ever buy tickets in advance.
