Give me some college football and something we can actually discuss. It may not be pretty on the field again this year, but I'm itching to see these new guys.

I may not like a lot of the things that have gone on with the transition to a new regime and the much discussed and dissected antics but I'm willing to give PJ and his program a chance. It (success) likely won't happen over night.

I just want Bronco football. Back.

I'm dreading a season where we look inept and don't compete. Last year was awful and the constant crazy talk after was embarrassing.

I'm hoping that in this years effort, they actually compete and win a few. I was hoping for a surprise team, second year effort and some games against teams we should beat, and now I'm hearing the usual pre excuses on how we shouldn't expect anything until next year? That is disheartening to say the least. Not what I would expect to hear from a HC and his supporters.

Hope the athletic budget is prepared for no attendance revenue if that happens.

Right now everything is hypothetical. Hypotheses vary of course.

Couple weeks we can get our first glimpse of reality. I'm only going to watch the last 15 minutes.

First quarter is a must for me, sound off when coach is talking of course. You can tell a lot from how a team reacts early.

Like when you call IT. They ask you if you've checked to see if it is plugged in. The Purdue game is something like that. We'll get some answers, but they won't mean much.

I'm thinking we'll win by 3 touchdowns. Those who lay some money down will clean up.

Yeah, we're a lot ,like the Lions. We beat a big opponent, the team starts singing "Another one bites the dust, " and then we lose to a team we're a 34 point favorite to beat.

I can't wait... just a couple weeks until PJ Fleck is dancing on the 50 yard line at Purdue after beating them by 10 points!

We are a lot like the Lions. Great analogy.

Now we need a Barry Sanders to come along. Like Ben or Saddi did for us in hoops.

Wow, three touchdown win. 10 point victory. No one knows what we have, yet, this year. I'm not counting any chickens before they hatch, so to speak. Want to see the product on the field before I make any projections - good or bad.
