Agreed. You can say that about the bottom half teams, in most of those P5 Conferences.
If the P5 conferences can make the rules, than they can change the rule that you need 6 wins to go to a bowl game.

If these conferences can "make their own rules", pay for play is on the table. Basically, forming a separate sub division of college athletics is on the table. Locking out the non power 5 altogether from tournaments and championship opportunities etc. Recruiting advantages.
I DO think that with the new 4 team playoff format that we are eventually going to see teams need to play tougher OOC opponents early in an attempt to help strength of schedule. Ultimately, that is going to hurt the mid level guys like us. No more paycheck games 3 times in the OOC.
IMO, this is a HUGE and potentially terrible decision for the NCAA.
Exactly, many of the non power schools need the big payday to finance their football program. The power 5 should be required to schedule two non power 5 games per year. I'm fine with the restriction for the power 5 not to schedule FCS schools.
