My Line: Houston 31-23 Houston shows up big in their hope opener but I bet UTSA will have something to prove and they have been trending strong so they might get Houston sleeping if they have any shot at winning this game.

FWIW, in poking around for this, it sure looks like the AAC in some for or another will have games gracing ESPN, FOXSN, and CBSSN platforms so do yourself a favor and watch any AAC game you get in your area!

Somehow working dual screens on a laptop I had missed two games. I have now added those in.

We play NCCU (North Carolina Central University), not UNCC (Also known athletically as Charlotte).

Probably just a typo, but since we Pirates get bent out of shape when someone gets our name wrong, I figured I'd point it out so we could get our opponent's name right.

Tulane 27 @ Tulsa 20 - Tulane gets an early conference victory, setting them up for the home opener.

Temple 20 @ Vanderbilt 38 - Too many of Franklin's kids are still around for Temple to compete.

BYU 33 @ UConn 20 - UCONN will play valiantly, but lose.

Penn St 28 vs. UCF 31 - Part homer pick, part upset pick. Penn St has a stud QB but lost a lot elsewhere. We will be breaking in a new QB but have lots of returning talent.

UTSA 23 @ Houston 40 - Houston beats UTSA soundly.

Austin Peay 13 @ Memphis 30 - Please win this.

WCU 13 @ USF 30 - Don't embarrass the entire conference like you did last year.

UNCC 17 @ ECU 45 - A little tuneup before the big games come.

SMU 20 @ Baylor 70 - Bryce Petty returning means lots of Baylor points.

I still can't get over how our game with NCCU will be televised nationally on the News. Something is brewing here. I feel it will be similar to the Appy game a few years back. We jumped on them early then put our second and third in to give them reps. Coach Ruff is too humble of a man to let it get out of hand.

Yeah...if it gets real ugly by halftime.... Might not be that bad of a deal as we have @ So Car the following week.
