i disagree utsa is projected top 4 or 5 in c-usa, will gather a lot of c-usa wins, they wont get us media brownie points but will boost our computer rpi points...we get byu and ucf early...win both we'll be in the top 25 .. and once you're in the top 25, just winning moves you up no matter the opponent for the most case.

most think our schedule is a weakness, in terms of quality of opponent theyd be correct..
but in terms ofwhere they are scheduled is amazing, good teams early to get us over the hump and cincy last to leave a good last impression.

we could have played byu mid season (which was original planned) and played the tulanes, usfs and tulsa early instead of ucf. even if we were undefeated it would have taken us probably till week 9 till we were ranked..the current set up we have is great

"kinda".the big name coaches always get it every year.and its divide up by conference representation.. so technically curtis and bill will lose there as the c-usa rep or they could just change the name on the plate from c-usa rep to AAC rep...since we lost 2 aswell

None ranked

UCF, Cincy, Houston, and ECU all getting votes

ucf has a good shot, they always tend to give respect to teams who did good the previous year despite what they lose ..id say ucf has a 50-50 shot

ecu, houston maybe get 1-3 vote points...cincy with a decent amount of vote points but not enough to be ranked

This...

No doubt CTT is doing a little "coachmanship" here but he knows Cincinnati is favored in the AAC and there is a target on the team's back. We also have a talented but unproven QB in Gunner Kiel who is the lead to become the starter this year. He is being genuine about ECU as they have a good team this year and have had a strong football program for many years. Just ask UNC or NC State although they won't admit it.....

NC State wouldn't have any choice but to admit it. They haven't beaten us this decade. We cuckolded their stadium from them this fall.

You would know better than me but glancing at the series record since 1983 shows ECU has won 9 of 15. I'd say ECU has had the upper hand for some time. In fairness to NC State, they dominated in years prior to '83 but it is a "what have you done for me lately world" that we live in.

Coaches Poll comes out tomorrow. Which AAC teams are ranked/getting votes?
UCF might barely make it. Cincy a few spots back, ECU and Houston further still. Hypothetically:

25. UCF
30. Cincy
32. Houston
35. ECU

So, other than UCF, are we basically saying no G5 (sorry Aresco) school will be in the top 25?

UCF is essentially #28 with 3rd most votes.

The poll is an absolute joke, as evidenced by UF receiving more votes than UCF. UNC was voted in at #23 (LOL) and Texas is ranked #24.

Not a single non-P5 team ranked.

UCF is only team in Top 36 to receive votes.

UC got 6 votes
Houston got 2 votes
