2 questions about Sun Belt basketball for 2014-15
First, is the doubleheader set up final now? I heard Ark. St.'s AD said he was strongly against it and so was Commissioner Benson but the majority voted for it. He indicated he is still working to abandon the DH idea.

Second, were ANY scheduling parameters set up regarding scheduing for Sun Belt schools for this year, specifically number of non-D1 games?

Doubleheaders are confirmed for this year. It will be voted on again at the end of the season.

As for scheduling. I cant say. I know we've talked about setting up parameters, but its never been confirmed that we ever did.

Who knows where we will be playing. Our basketball facility is having some issues. According to some on our message board there are structural problems with the roof and the facility is locked shut right now with "Under Construction" signs on the doors. Supposedly the completion date for these "construction issues" is "late Fall."

So we may very well be playing some of our games or possibly those before Thanksgiving or maybe even Christmas somewhere else.
Who knows?

What we really need is a new basketball facility and maybe this will jump start a process to build a new one.

We do have some outdoor courts we could play on. Welcome in Sun Belt schools :)

It has worked well for the NHL so far.
