Well, in year two of a rebuilding year, you have some wiggle room, but I think some improvement needs to be illustrated, i.e., winning a couple of games against programs that are in year one of their rebuilding, competing and showing that a game plan has been established, communicated to the players and internalized by the same players.
I don't think his indirect style of placing blame on the players will go over as well this season as it did last.
Agree with you on the rebuilding thing. If by the completion of year 3 of rebuilding we aren't progressing then we need to evaluate whether he should be coaching at WMU or not. But until then he has completely stripped our program down to the bare bones and is rebuilding it so that it has a solid foundation for the future. And to me a solid foundation starts with great character kids, with talent. That's what he has done with the 2014 class. Does a 3 star ranking, academically smart kid, who has great character always equal winning football games? Not always...but you have a much greater chance with these type of kids at this level than not.

I think that we won't have to evaluate after year 3, but someone will or be evaluated himself. I think that it could come earlier if this year doesn't pan out and WMU doesn't show some improvement. If this team is as poorly coached as last years effort and the attempt is once again made to lay the accountability on the players, not even his biggest supporters can sit idly by.
