I decided to compile the list of donors announced so far here. Another neat thing a lot of people dont know about is that UT started a coaches endowment fund similiar to what Boise State does to keep their best coaches around longer. UT will utilize the money to pay certain coaches higher compensation above and beyond what the univesity can pay . This was started only few years ago and the fund is growing. I believe the mens and womens basketball coach are receiving funds, maybe the football coach, but dont quote me on it. Other MAC schools wish they could be doing this! $750,000 of the $1.5 million dollar donation noted below is for the coaches endowment fund. Yet another example of why our AD has been with us as long as he has and why his current contract was just extended to 2020.
