Does anyone have any off the wall App State beating Michigan videos to post.?
Have seen a couple the last year that I had never seen before.

say this about Carr, he is a class act, a day after the game, he called Moore to apologize and congradulate him on a great game. Told Moore the reason he didn't shake his hand at the end of the ballgame, was not because of lack of effort, or poor sportsmanship, but because of all the chaos, he couldn't reach Moore. Alot of coaches, would not have placed that phone call, as much as I loved the game, I hated that such a good guy as Carr had to go thru the hell in the following months, I was pulling for them the rest of the season, and I loved they beat Florida in the Bowl, atleast Carr got some satisfaction and vindication from the season

I will be pulling for App st against Michigan but there is no chance they win especially because App state is still touting a win 7 years ago and Michigan will be making sure that doesn't happen again.

Exactly what we heard last time. Maybe Michigan will have so much hatred and get up for the game so much they will blow it, could happen. If they were to lose again you can bet there will be some huge excuses. If you watch this video look at the other Big Ten fans at their stadiums watching the end of the game. Can understand why our equipment van didn't have to pay for gas in Ohio on the way back.

Michigan should win fairly easily, if App pulls it off again, Hoke may be in trouble.

Could be Michigan had a bad day:

they finished 7-6 last year, watched Myers take over the Ohio State program, and proceeded to ***** slap Michigan all over the field, and Hoke is paid 4 million a year, his seat is already extremely hot, if this game is close, or the unthinkable happens and they lose again, Hoke might as well head straight to the parking lot, load up the wife and kids, hit the interstate out of Michigan, and just keep right on going.

Rooting for you guys in this one for sure. Michigan has always been a relatively inconsistent team. They lose to a #3 Ohio State by 1 point, but then have to hold of last minute drives by Akron and UConn to win, then get hosed by Kansas State at the end of the season in a bowl game.

If you come out the gates swinging I don't doubt it will be anyone's game going into the 4th quarter. Adrenaline goes a long way in these things.

This year's Michigan team isn't nearly as talented as the '07 bunch. The problem is neither is App. That Mountaineers team was designed to beat teams like Michigan. Big, slow and not in great condition. The defense was so tired by the end of the 1st quarter the linemen couldn't even get down in a 3 point stance. Their secondary didn't have a clue where the ball was going and they didn't have anyone who could run with Dexter Jackson. Then there was that skinny little QB named Edwards....

I have so much respect for Michigan. I was at the game and afterwards the people in Ann Arbor were so nice (and in shock) they let us celebrate in the bars and street without one fight or even bad word. I still haven't met a Michigan fan that has been an a$$. I grew up a Penn State fan but the truth is Michigan fans, as arrogant as many think they are, really are great fans. I am going back with total respect for them, and the prayer we play APP football and scare the **** out of the Big house.

BTW, App played 28 players in 2007 game. 11 on offense, 11 on defense, and 6 total subs the whole game. Those numbers won't be the same this year, we are deeper than ever before. I believe Michigan will try to ram the ball down our throat, run after run after run. They have a new offensive coordinator from Alabama but he doesn't have enough time to totally change the offense. They also have 3 new offensive lineman. If we stop the run, then this game may be closer then many may think.

I sure hope you pull it off and bring it home for the Sun Belt.

Imagine an upset at Michigan and NC State on opening day..... let the shots be heard around the world! (Granted the repeat win over Michigan would be louder).

Am I the only one feeling like we (the two of our programs) are being way underestimated?

I'm still hurting over not bringing our old style triple option into this transition... to our Mountaineer Brothers!

I was thinking this exact thing. Michigan was primed for what App did to them. It's obvious by Oregon doing the exact same thing the next week. App has nowhere near the same team or advantages that they had back then. That 2007 team was probably the best team they ever had, and I think a good number of the players that were part of the 3peat were seniors that year.

App might win again, but I don't think it's going to be anything like it was the last time. Also, Michigan is going to be MOTIVATED this time. That is going to play a huge factor as well. The crowd will not be as uninterested as they were last time either. They've dealt with 7 years of aggravation about that game, specifically from Sparty and Buckeye fans. I'd expect many angries on that day.

Can not agree more. Every Michigan fan I met was courteous and complimentary. You could understand it before the game, the attitude after is what impressed me.

Although there will be two completely different staffs and players I'm sure their guys are constantly being reminded of how embarrassing the loss was. It could work for App by putting more pressure on their guys. What IF we lose again has got to be in back of their mind. Especially if the Mountaineers get up on them early.

I love the psychological games that this game brings with it. APP needs to play tough with nothing to lose. The Michigan kids have all the pressure. I could see some unsportsmanlike penalties by M.

agree about the Michigan fans, I was in a bar surrounded by Michigan fans, when the game was over, I tried to leave quietly, but was stopped, (top to bottom App gear), they told me that we had the better team, and I should be proud of how they played, I know a lot of Michigan fans, and to this day, yes, the game brings back bad memories, but they have always been good sports about it, and I have never heard a negative remark about App from them, classy fan base.

There was a lot of Ohio State fans beside themselves also.
