Would love to see a video capturing the responses across the SEC and other Florida teams when they announced the final last year. I have heard from several people Doak Campbell (FSU) was going absolutely nuts when they announced the score, but have never seen any video to confirm it.

If App beats Michigan again, and we beat NC State and/or GT, oh lawd, watch out! This board will blow the F up!

The Black and Blue Bowl between App State and Georgia Southern will be a great game anyway, but would certainly give the announcers something great to talk about pre-game.

we got a chance in this game, from what I have read this just isn't a good Michigan team, like us they have a lot of question marks at a lot of positions. Still, its a long shot we win, but, I don't see any reason why we cant be competitive atleast until halftime, wouldn't surprise me to see us within a couple of tds late in the 3rd, then probably, fade away in the 4th as our starters become tired

We just about killed our starters play most for the entire game, at least this time we
will have a few more good back ups.

The joyous mob of students tore it down after Corey Lynch made the field goal block that truly put Appalachian State on the map, that brought millions in sales to the school bookstore and that taught a country it was pronounced Appa-LASH-un, not Appa-LAY-shun.

They had carried the goalpost about a mile uphill to the Chancellor’s house and dropped it in his yard. After a day like this, there was no way he was going to be angry .

Team flew into Tri Cities neat John City TN and was met at the state line by the NC Highway Patrol and escorted back to Boone. Every town and crossroads on the route back to Boone was packed with people. Once on campus it took the buses a long time to make it to the stadium because the streets were packed with people. It was a sight to behold!

Tailed to a Michigan alumi this week in Nashville, season ticket holder, told me the majority of Michigan fans were against playing this game, no win situation, no matter what happens they will never be able to replace loss in 2007. Also told me the AD has quadruped the PL prices in the last 5 years, pay minimum of 50.00 for parking, and are paying 8.00 for a hotdog. He said he had been a season ticket holder for 15 years, but this was he last year, told me the AD is nickel and diming them to death, and there is no value in attending games anymore. I think we will see a lot of empty seats not only for the App game, but also for the rest of their home games.
