It really was. The heat was a little unbearable, but otherwise it was an incredible day.

A little more depth this year should get us to 6 or 7 wins.

There was a decent article in the observer today about the defense. We are returning eight starters (of the three players we are losing, two led the team in tackles). There is also talk of red shirting two of the returning starters to save them for CUSA play.
I'm thinking it's going to be a long year on defense. It sounds like we have 6 defensive linemann on scholarship: 5 sophomores (2 that were injured) and a red shirt freshman.

I want to win, but have a feeling this season will be just a long scrimmage to prepare for 2015.

So the Oberserver put out the depth chart yesterday.
As of this moment, Charlotte's starters consist of 15 sophomores (8 on offense) 3 junios(1 on offense) and three seniors (2 on offense).
The kicker is a sophomore and punter is a true freshman (who hearing impaired. He will be the first deaf punter to punt in a BCS game next season).
The average offensive starting lineman is 6'4" and 307 lbs.
There are only 4 juniors and seniors on the 2nd team.
There are two guys [/align]who will start that came to the program as walk ons. Both have earned scholarships.

AGREED! I drive by Campbell's stadium often, with work. It's not a bad looking place, just small! 5,000 capacity! It shouldn't be a problem selling out this place! LOL! This is an aerial photo, taken @ night.

Is that a clubhouse/proshop next to the endzone?

Basketball....they also have a decent baseball. Football is absolutely putrid. Hopefully former Panthers' player Mike Minter can turn it around for them. He lobbied hard for the Charlotte coaching job and we caught alot of slack for not even considering him, even though it was the right move.

LOL! I'm guessing a clubhouse! But it does look like it belongs on a golf course!

ODU is an independent university.

UNC-C is part of the system in which the flagship is the most fraudulent athletic program in NCAA history. Hence the domain names "odu.edu" and "uncc.edu"

Good luck with your exciting schedule this year, UNCheat-Charlotte Forty-Niners.
