This is huge on so many levels, congrats to Southern Miss for making this happen.

This one is a VERY good arrangement. Glad the University could get this deal finalized.. and 2 of the 5 years at that. Now we have to get the fans to show up so they want it here more often.

don't mean to poo-poo, but it's just a tad too late for this to have an impact for our or any other g5 program....just the way it is....

outside of restaurants, lodging, and residual effect, I see this having zero impact relative to g5/southern miss football....

Its been in jackson forever. Strong talk that the umc the medical center wants the property Memorial is on. They already use the parking lot during the day.

If it were not for UMC, baptist hosp and the VA being right there that area would already look like legion field.

Really? My understanding was that that game was going to alternate between Ole Miss and Jackie Sherill Junior College.
