Funny what is interesting in off-season
Our coaches will tweet BOOM any time we get a new committment.

With AState's Red Wolf Foundation out selling suites and loge boxes in conjunction with the new renovation, they've taken to tweeting BOOM as well anytime they get a signed contract.

According to a friend who is tracking them on Twitter today has been a 2 BOOM day.

Another friend says they are going back to the designers to see if they can squeeze in some more premium seating spots.

They are looking to get $800,000 to $1 million in annual payments signed up for 7 year contracts.

Fritz will tweet "Hail Southern!" Then it's a race on the fan boards to see who can get the new commit's thread up the fastest haha.

Our coaches like to call our recruits "Monster parts" whenever they are bored.

For instance one of them will Tweet "In Dallas looking for some Monster parts" Then half our board will race to figure out who he is there to see.

The odd thing is, our caches have effectively eliminated all fan base stalking because they'll openly Tweet wherever they are. Our OC tortured everyone last week with pictures from Cancun. Anderson went on a Carnival Cruise last week and then asked if everyone missed him. The usual Jonesboro game of figuring out where the head football coach likes to eat Dinner gets erased when he starts taking pictures of his food for the evening.

As Trooper Taylor said when he took this job. Its like Friday Night Lights on Steroids. Heck, churches in town actively recruit the football coaching staff to visit them against each other on Twitter.

I have yet to see Fritz out in public but people tweet all the time when they bump into him.

It was always fun during the spring because I drive by the practice fields on my way home from work and I'd always make a point to mention that I saw the QB's out there throwing the ball a lot. (always funny to see some of the responses since people in our parts are deathly afraid of the forward pass)

I run into our basketball coach on a daily basis in Starbucks on campus and I think he gets a funny grin on his face every time I say "hey coach" because I'm one of the few people on campus that recognize him.

Oddest place I have ever run into an ASU Head coach was the day I ran into ASU's baseball coach in the waiting room at the doctor's office.

I had to resist the urge to ask him if the previous game's performance had made him sick too...

What was the deal with the tweet of Trooper, the Governor, and the dog the Gov was petting? Looked like the the entrance to the great hall of the Governor's Mansion.
