Nobody has more T-shirt fans than UT

The 'Criminal Tide' will give them a run for the money.

A few of these games will be much closer than those lines. Week 1 is the week to get an upset.

It certainly would be the week to cover. I can see three of these teams covering the spread, maybe four. Maybe time for a parlay?

looks like 0 for 5 to me..

I'll take anything from 2 to 5 game parlay.....good luck....did it for years and was like taking candy from a baby....

the one thing worth mentioning, is the earlier it is in the season, the easier it is to pick out the crazy numbers through wk 3-4....after that, it's a crapshoot

edit: the only way to play that game is to load up on about 10-15 games/yr....never bet parlays....never bet teasers in the college game....never bet the under in college b/c of the overtime rule....

if you do that over a 10 yr period, you may make a few dollars

but people are worse than a sucker fish in an aquarium....

RE: Best chance for Week 1 win vs a P5 team
Those are a tough slate of games for an upset….Hard to sneak up on someone in week one as the players are hyped and ready to play for the first game of the season.

With that said I would go with UNT over UT as the best chance for a win over a P5 team. UT struggled last year and will be breaking in a new offense and defense. Not sure how much UNT returns from last season but if their defense is anything like what they showed last season they should have a shot at the upset.

If UNT played UT say, after the BYU and UCLA games, I'd feel much better about their chances. I doubt David Ash (Longhorn QB) will stay healthy for long!
