RE: Watching other C-USA schools
Very simply...

If it is another Texas CUSA, Im watching it... Then maybe LT... and then I try to keep tabs of the top of the other division... If it is a Weeknight or Special national game I will at least DVR it.

This is the real important part the the Sun Belt would not accept. Without other Texas schools to play, UNT fans did not have a huge reason to ever follow the rest of the conference

RE: Watching other C-USA schools
I make an effort to watch other CUSA games when I can. This is especially true in bowl season and any match ups vs a P5 school. Unfortunately I am stuck in B10 country and TVs/bars around here are dominated by those games.

I like to. Especially if it's an OOC game and I root like heck for the C-USA team.

I'd watch anything other than SEC, ACC, ect.... Its like you see and hear about them ALL FREAKIN DAY LONG that sometimes you just can't deal anymore.

This year I will probably watch my share of AAC games and CUSA games.

I realize that's almost sacrilege for Herd faithful. I came to the Mountaineers late in honor of mother in Law who was a die hard fan.)

My order of preference:

USM games
C-USA games
MWC games
BXII games...

Everyone else goes to the bottom of the list.

Of course. Games outside of CUSA may be interesting to watch from time to time, but what actually matters in terms of standings, bowl placement, and CCG is determined by the outcome of CUSA games. The only time I tune out is when the game is so lopsided that there's no point in watching anymore. That's also the reason I've tuned out of 99% of Texas Rangers games this year...

I watch CUSA games first if Tech isn't on TV. Then it's whoever on my college fantasy football team is on TV followed by if LSU is getting beaten and on TV.

This was also his birthday IIRC. The band hung around afterwards during postgame interviews and sung happy birthday to him.

He's a Birmingham kid and that is why he's my favorite Blazer.

Wont go out of my way, but If Im home watching football I will usually keep a CUSA game in my rotation of flipping.

If the team is going to play FAU next then I will watch it almost exclusively.

Watching and Rooting Interest Order

1. Louisiana Tech University
2. C-USA
3. P5 teams that have been beaten by C-USA teams in OOC.
4. G5 vs. P5
- Addendum: Except for ULL/ULM/Tulane. I expect consistent 0-12 seasons from all 3.
5. P5 Underdogs
5. Whoever is playing LSU, except the aforementioned LA schools.

You could say I've refined my game-watching model to a science...

I like to. Especially if it's an OOC game and I root like heck for the C-USA team.

I've watched C-USA for so many years, I will continue to do so. Especially interested this year, as there are plenty of compelling story lines: Will USM get back to their typical winning ways? How will the "New Teams" fare in conference play? Will Marshall pull off a special season & go 13-0? What team(s) will emerge to become Conference Powers? Can Skip Holtz recapture the "magic" he had @ ECU & win conference championships @ La Tech?

MT & ODU were fun games to watch last season, so I look forward to catching some of their games again this year, and I will be keeping up with the 49'ers as well. As it was stated earlier in this thread, we are beaten over the head with P5 news & talk every day by national media outlets to the point that I don't even care to watch ANY of them!
I'll keep watching & enjoying ECU, AAC, and C-USA games! 04-cheers

I always root for the G5 teams unless its NC State or U of Md. I usually root for Navy too (almost a P5 historically), but am thinking of going to the WKy game in Annapolis this year and rooting for the Hilltoppers.

I want to make it to Annapolis, as well. I've heard that attending a game @ West Point in the fall is an awesome experience, too! I'm planning on taking in games @ ODU & Charlotte soon, as I have friends & family in both areas.

Southern Miss and West Point. Won't really cheer for anyone else. I mean, I hope CUSA schools win, but I wouldn't go so far as to say I "cheer" for them.

I perpetually cheer against the SEC.
