You're a breath of fresh air. That's the thing about message boards. Just when you've had your fill of a bag of hot air like DB, a level headed down to earth poster comes on board.

You should get to know Doo. He's new too, but you guys seem to have a lot in common.

That Doo guy has a solid grasp on the roster, the inner workings of the athletic department and knows a lot of people. I should get to know him, I'm just a common lay person fan who lives a few hours drive away. He could really help me get plugged in, know what I mean?

Most of those other forums are just full of losers, where this one is for the intellectual elite.

I think this whole board would benefit from moderators. I agree. Today there are also some unsavory posters who flat out ATTACKED me today without any context, imagine if someone new came here, say a parent of a recruit and they were openly attacked because of a certain self appointed few thinking that the poster was someone else.

I guess it all depends upon who's perspective from that you're looking. Some are ok with posters not being nice to certain other posters, while at the same time quick to condemn a new one for following up a poster that he or she didn't like. I think it should be level across the board.

I think that is a case of people taking a board way to seriously when that kind of behavior manifests itself. I think Liam, that every post today from you had no discussion of WMU athletics, that's really too bad for everyone here, because it seems that you want to add so much to the discussion, but you're doing the same thing that you complain about.

Let's try and do that from now on, what do you say?

This place was that option until the goons who crashed the scout site came here to play their games. Anyone committed enough to spend hours and hours creating new characters to dominate a board with will inevitably just find any other alternative and do the same. Its unfortunate but it is what it is. You call them out for it and you get a childish "see see you do it too" "I can make you attack me". Just attention seeking behavior, afraid to have a real conversation. I'll try and use the ignore function and see if that helps.

Hi Liam, it seems that you get pretty upset, maybe if you focused on the one thing you can control and have the strength to accept what you cannot, that may help you when you frequent this board.

If that doesn't work, by all means your ignore feature is a great idea and and a great fallback.
