i don't know about that. We were extremely SK dependent last season and even the season before. it helped get the Ws, but it also stunted the growth of Caupain because he would just hand off to SK and let him go to work. Hopefully this season opened Troy's eyes and let him know that the safety net is no longer there. He needs to lead and he wouldn't have been able to do so in

Totally different teams...this years team had two inside guys(Ellis and Clark) that had some offensive skills. Last time SK played with a true big man who had some skill to score was Gates. I think SK with this years team would have been a great team.

Team high 24pts last night, playing with the Bucks this year.

I'm a bit naive/ obtuse in terms of contracts. He has a two-year deal, which is great, but he's only guaranteed $50,000? How does that work?

They signed him to a 2 year league minimum contract assuming he makes the final roster and they choose to retain him. If he does not make the final roster he is guaranteed $50,000 and he will become a free agent again.

He actually has a pretty good chance at making the final roster because the Pelicans are thin at shooting guard.
