Exclamation My OOC Wishlist
these are the realistic ooc games that i want us to win next year

1) cincy blows out toledo, beat Miami and just keep the ohio state game respectable
2) uconn beats boise
3) ecu beats vt and unc
4) houston beats byu
5) memphis comfortably beats mtsu and upsets ole miss
6) smu beats unt and tcu
7) temple upsets vandy or psu
8) tulane beats rutgers
9) tulsa comes out 3-1 in ooc
10) ucf beats mizzou or psu (maybe both)
11) usf beats ncstate and maryland
12) no one loses to an fcs

give me 5 to 7 of these and the AAC train will be set for the big stage

uconn vs boise will be HUGE statement game, uconn beating boise could honestly put a dagger in the heart of the mwc (HUGE STATEMENT GAME)

ECU plays unc and vt, and cincinatti plays miami, those are the top 3 projected teams in the ACC coastal ..if we win those 3 the AAC east> ACC coastal (statement game) ..imagine if memphis also beat duke..a man can dream

tulane vs rutgers, the gain more than you lost game (statement game)

ucf vs psu and mizzou are statement games IMHO they are currently waving the AAC flag, it would be good if they are perceived as a flash in the pan

and i personally want temple to beat vandy or psu, pj is one of the most marketable players in this league with his miller/manziel style off play ..but marketable is meaningless if you aren't winning

If Cincinnati blows out Toledo it will be a sign of a great year to come. I've made the comment on this board before but this year's Toledo squad is better than all but 3-4 teams in this conference.

I'm shock Cincinnati has trouble with the Toledo... I was unaware the Toledo had a football team till I join this board, and even now, we hear nothing, zero from them here in Houston.

PJ has a lot of athleticism, but I think they want him to be a pocket passer rather than a true dual threat. I dont think you'll see him jumping on/over people like JFF.

Toledo has had a good program for a long time. This year will be no different.

Just because you have no concept of the quality of football played outside of the state of Texas doesn't mean that it isn't being played elsewhere.

In the past few years Toledo has beaten Air Force, Colorado, Michigan, Navy and Purdue. They have also scared the beejezus out of Boise State, Missouri and Syracuse (by rights they should have beaten Syracuse but the officials called a last second field goal that appeared to clear the uprights no good).

Toledo returns a lot of talent from last year's squad. They are very athletic at the skilled position and this will be their third game of the season vs. Cincinnati's first. Do I think my Bearcats will win? Sure. Do I think it will be a playoff? No I do not.

Toledo is a great program and they will have a really good team this year...i will be happy with a win period. If Toledo was in the AAC this year they would be playing in the upper half of the conference

1. Cincy blows out Toledo, but will lose to Miami and will get smashed by Ohio State.
2. UConn will not beat Boise.
3. ECU will beat one of those teams, but not both.
4. BYU will win comfortably in Provo.
5. The MTSU game will be close, but Memphis will come out with a loss. No way they beat Ole Miss.
6. SMU loses both games.
7. Temple loses both games.
8. Rutgers beats Tulane comfortably.
9. Tulsa will go 2-2 in OOC play.
10. UCF will beat PSU but not Mizzou.
11. USF loses both games.
12. Not sure yet.

1) miami is replacing a qb (so is cincy) but i wouldn't count cincy out so easily, they gave Louisville a dramatically better game than miami who was blown out

2)boise isn't what it used to be and transitioning and uconn is coming in hot..i have Boise a favorite but won't count out uconn

3) we'll see

4) byu beat houston by 1 last season, byu graduated half the defense and lost every WR. houston is projected way better

5) memphis beats mtsu..

6) unt is rebuilding worse than smu and weren't that good to begin with and tcu has been reported as having an anexic offense, they aren't world beaters

7) i wouldn't count temple out so easily

8) rutgers wasn't that good, and tulane has gotten better every year under the current coach

9) we'll see

10) that wouldn't be that bad

11) we'll see

i always thought of toledo as kind of a northern version of southern miss. good football that will sneak up and kill a giant every now and then. they have been that way for a long long time. honestly didnt know they were in the MAC.
