I really like the Cajuns' OOC. All winnable IMO if they play to their potential. Having Southern and LA Tech at home is awesome. Should be wins. Last time Southern was in town attendance was 42,000. That was before the Cajun's were winning. Should have really good attendance for both games.

Instead of letting Southern Miss buy the game out it would be better for App if you could agree on another year for them to come to Boone.

Well USM was supposed to come to TXST next year. Heck even two weeks ago when our AD released an article on the UTSA series there was a blurb about USM coming to San Marcos in 2015.

Quote:The Bobcats will host Houston in 2016 before beginning its eight-year series against UTSA in 2017. In addition, Texas State also plays non-conference home games against Navy in 2014, Southern Miss in 2015 and Tulsa in 2018

ULM's is very tough, but they are spread out and Kentucky and Wake Forest are very winnable. Especially with WF at home.

That probably will be what happens. For the most part all of us are close to being in the same boat and help each other (AD's) unless we are bitter rivals that had a troubled past. Sometimes if you can find another opponent you move the game to another year so a team can make some money on a great deal.

Even with S. Miss winning 1 game in 2 years my biggest disappoint with Western's conference schedule was not playing @ S. Miss this year. We beat them in a OOC game at Western 2 years ago. By joining the conference we didn't get to return the game.

If you go to the game in Hattiesburg ...go straight to the beaches and drive up on game day. There's NOTHING to see in Hattiesburg
