RE: Baseball Regionals
Florida State had won 19 in a row in first rounds.
NC losing today also.
ODU walked 2 men in on hitting them to lose their game.

Congrats to GaSo

That's a huge upset for Jackson State. Cajuns'll toss 15 on the board the next time they meet.

Does that eliminate UL? Or can UL bounce back and still make a run to the WS?

I'm not a baseball fan so I feel sorry for those that live a breath baseball. A very tough loss for the Cajuns. Congrats to Jackson State for pulling a huge upset in our own park.

Let me put this into perspective. Jackson St had an RPI of 286 I think and the Cajuns #5.

So the United States 1980 Olympic Hockey team stood a better chance at beating the Russians that Jackson St. dod tonight.

We left 12 runners stranded. Austin Robicheaux threw 8 1/3rd giving up 1 run and 3 hits. We were shut out of the first time all season and to top it all off, we have to win 4 straight to get to the supers.

Sam Howard may be in the bigs soon. 92 mph and a lefty. FSU barely put the ball in play all night. Complete domination.

Tough opening day for #1 seeds. Miami squeezes by Bethune-Cookman 1-0 with only 4 hits, scoring the run in the bottom of the 9th. FSU only has 2 hits in their 7-0 loss to Georgia Southern. TCU only winning 1-0 over Siena in the top of the 7th. Oklahoma State winning 2-0 in the 5th with only 4 hits to Binghamton's 6. Not to mention the Cajuns.

Fellas get your kicks in because we deserve it.

It's baseball. Your guys have been winning so much, getting that losing taste might not be such a bad thing.

The question in a regional is do you have anyone behind him for the rest of the regional? It's a marathon not a sprint.

Pitcher of the year in the SoCon Josh Wirsu will pitch vs. Kennessaw tomorrow. After tomorrow who knows?

Wirsu should pitch next, SoCon pitcher of the year. We're pretty much a 2 man starting crew right now with rubber arm Richman in the pen. If we get good productivity out of Wirsu, we'll be sitting pretty good. KSU will be tough though.

RE: Baseball Regionals
Ideally for us we have Florida St. lose to Alabama tomorow to put them out of tournament and we beat Kennessaw St. in the 2nd game. That would be a great great day.
