if you're talking about the capital campaign that included not only an IPF but also renovations to the entire football complex. in Sept. 2011, it was reported by the school that $2.3 million of the $10 million goal was raised. out of the $2.3 million not sure how much was specifically raised for IPF

The people in the AOB at the UofM is trying to build an IPF which the construction date is TBD upon a fundraising campaign that they're trying to start ASAP and hopes they are not SOL in obtaining donations from big donors and average Joe fans.

For a poor man, I gave generously for the IPF. As for the parking increase, my comments were based on a matter of principle - not money. Since Tom Bowen was pissed at the city for charging more for parking than we charge for game tickets, I thought I would raise the issue here.

Very Nice. That building has come a long way since my senior year in 2000. While it is a shame it has taken this long to get to this point I am very happy to see that it is finally coming along sooner rather than later. It would have been very nice to have had those resources and amenities when I played so I know these kids will really enjoy it! Hopefully they will announce the funding of the project soon and everyone will pitch in even if it is just a little. This will be something for the program to be very proud of.

Would be nice if CA, local news crews partnered with UofM on a series of articles about facility upgrades. On the IPF alone, I can see a number of articles about the lounges, training table, and turf room. Timing should be around recruiting season. I can only hope the staff is embracing the digital age with some innovative awareness campaigns to recruits.
