Sounds like you guys are going to take the same path ECU did and let him finish out a lame duck year instead of paying the buyout. It was a mistake for ECU and it would be a mistake for you as well.

He's really taken USM baseball from the brink of being a great program to the dumpster. That's what we get for not conducting a national search after Corky left. I miss my old USM baseball.

We're not a "dumpster" yet (although we're going in that direction).. but we're definitely not the standard of excellence that we used to be in college Baseball.
