UL beat Arizona in game 2, 7-1, and adavance to the WCWS for the sixed time.

The Cajuns took game 1 yesterday, 5-3.

We want Righer U. You may recall that UCLA had a pitcher form Australia that attended zero classes in the spring, and only came to school in the spring. They won the WCWS that year, and their coach was reprimanded by the Pac 12.

I think the last time we met UCLA in post season they run ruled us. They absolutely run ruled us, just cannot recall exactly if it was regional or WCWS.

Congrats Lady Cajuns! How sweet would it be to also have the baseball team make the CWS?

It might be easier to keep the congratulations to one thread. Check " lady Cajuns looking good"

That thread don't get right to the point about going to world series. You have to go to at least 3 pages of who looks good on the eyes and other chit chat before game 1 score is even posted.

My thread was info about the regional. if people want to congratulate the team, so be it.

You are so right; we should not be excited about having a team in the final 8 in the hunt for a national championship. We are wasting a valuable thread that could have been used for another Liberty thread.

What were we thinking? 05-mafia

I vote that the accomplishment is thread worthy.

RE: Cajun Softball wins Lafayette Super Regional
The original thread covered the whole of the Super Regional. Ergo, it took a few pages to get the 2nd win and WCWS gig in. Didn't wait until the last minute (or having to post each time there was a win) because people were actually following along and didn't need a separate thread to tell us what we already knew. (ie: we were watching on TV)

But....whatever. I'm of today so let's just ad redundant threads aplenty. I can handle it.

PS - we don't need a separate Cajun baseball thread, thanks.

yea, you probably right. I think the thread on BBQ in your town on a Sun Belt conference forum was more important than a thread on a Sun Belt team heading to the World series.

It will be ok. The thread will be gone before you know it. But when I lived in Memphis, their BBQ was awesome, especially the sandwiches with the cole slaw on top, yummy!

BBQ seems to be important to football so I can see it.

Come on, I had a facetious post and you get all bent? Lighten up.

My post was a lightened up post. I was serious about the BBQ in Memphis. Believe me, I am far from being an uptight person if you knew me.

I also love Texas BBQ, I lived in Houston and Dallas where the Tex-Mex was out of this world. Forgive me if I didn't spell Tex-Mex the correct way:).

I'm a Seafood lover, where Louisiana has some of the best seafood. There's nothing good up here in Idaho, Nothing!. Just your regular chains.

One more thing, for the World Series there will only be one World Series thread.

Have a nice Memorial day.

#14 Kentucky upset #3 UCLA in the Los Angeles Super Regionals to advance to the WCWS.

The #6 seeded Cajuns will take on #14 Kentucky in their first game of the World Series. Kentucky will be seeded 3rd in the World Series after upsetting #3 UCLA.

Kentucky is hot right now, but I would rather be playing them than UCLA. It is Kentucky's first trip to the WCWS.

I was more impressed with USA than UCLA, or Texas, or Arizona, and I damn sure we will be champs of Kentucky before we conclude with champs of the WCWS.

WKU Check
USA Check
Texas Check
Arizona Check
Kentucky next and like baseball did in 2000 we were champs of S Carolina beating both USC, and Clemson.
