Two more Georgia Southern games to be televised.
Georgia Southern's games against NC St and GA Tech will be televised on the ACC network reaching up to 90 million households.
That makes five televised games this season. It's good to be an Eagle!
Hail Southern!

All games televised? As in television?

It will be picked up by someone. I was shocked to see all or nearly all (I cant remember one not being on last year) on TV last year. Even if its ESPN 3 it will be on somewhere and accessible.

So, broadcasted, not necessarily televised, huh? :-)

You have to forgive me. I cut the cable/satellite cord two years ago so the internet (Hulu/Netflix/Amazon) is how I watch TV. But yeah if you have ESPN3 access youre not going to miss many games in this league.

I think he's excited more about the opportunity for people to be flipping channels on a Saturday and to come across our game on TV. Unfortunately the internet crowd doesn't "come across" football games. You find what you're looking for and you typically stay there.
Now when ESPN 3 football becomes more "flippable" that will be great. Instead of having to click a link you can just flip channels like you would a TV through all of the different games.

I hear ya. We are trying to do the same, but the wife has certain shows she can't live without.
I knew the answer to my question, just poking at ya there. Would be awesome if someone picked up our game in the ATL area, but then again, some people may decide to stay home and watch it.

National television, Regional television, ESPN3...all of it is sooooo much better than purchasing a TerrierVision (or the likes) subscription to watch an away game!

I like to watch four four games at once on espn3, that's better than flipping.

This. If I end up getting a job not within driving distance of GSU games then that will be what I am doing every saturday.

This is the advantage of the smart scheduling Southern has done. Local BCS programs are more likely to be broadcast on local channels like the ACC network. I imagine our Clemson game will be the same thing as was Alabama last year. But Wisconsin, Oregon, Washington, West Virginia? Not likely.

I would think the chances of us being shown in sports bars went up for these two games. ESPN 3 makes it tougher (but by no means impossible) for sports bars to show games.

Netflix and Hulu plus are $8 a month. Amazon is $99/year. If it wasn't for the Braves I would have done it years ago myself.
