I think you should critique this article with an inebriated mind. If you’d do so Mr. App70, sir, you’d …………………….. Well, I have nothing more to say.

GaStateChris

I give the "Panther Talk" crew an "E" for effort!!!!!!04-cheers

I note that you did App first, Hmmmmmm, but then I figured you'd save the best for last trying to hone your skills on the App piece.07-coffee3

Doing App first was absolutely done on purpose. I'll let you figure out your own reasoning as to why.

I enjoyed reading the article and learning Hal Lamb is Taylor Lamb's father. Does Bobby Lamb know about that?

Of course Bobby Lamb may want to go by another name after a few "choke" moments at the Rock.

Chris, I know you'll do a good job when it's GaSo's turn. I can see, for some reason, you don't have any prior prejudice like some of the others on Panther Talk! 04-cheers

"But that was in the middle of the glory days of three straight national championships, which at the time made them only the second program in the history of division one football to accomplish that feat."
Who was the first? Was written at the time that it had never been done before. PS- Michigan was ranked #5 at the time.
Seemed like a lot was culled from the App State football site synopsis, but hard to say a lot different since so much is given in that rundown.

Was Hal Lamb the uncle that Taylor played high school football for down in Georgia? If so could be an interesting family discussion. jk

Minnesota won 3 in a row in the 30s. App was the first FCS to do it.

You seem a little nit picking & snarky to me, App70. Chris is doing the best he can & at least he's trying to shine the spotlight on two new members of the SB. I'm sure he will improve as time goes on using AppSt as a starting point to rectify any trivial mistakes that went into the App bench mule poject.

You know if we wanted to do everything just right you and I should have done this. I know you do the 25 pager on GaSo and I'll do your 3 years of fame.

Apologies. I cover Ga HS football a lot so my mind just went to Hal. Will fix it when I get to a computer.

Just hard not to comment since I had just read the App State official site that has many of the same exact things and even wording it seems. Go to it and see. Not really criticizing, it's a good composite. Personally think Chris is the good guy that worked with our firemoose on updates to offers and so forth last year for both schools. Think they helped each other out a lot, but tell me if that's not true. Could have been someone else.

Would love to write an article about the Brian VanGorder and Chris Hatcher years at Georgia Southern. Could do 25 pages on that alone.

I drew information from app nation, app state sports website, the USA today preview, sbnation preview, and a number of other sources to form general ideas and postulate how they compare to GSU.

Chris - It was a good write up. Anyone would have used whatever resources they had available. Certainly not belittling your write up in any way. You have writing talent. Now pound Georgia Southern when you get to them. kidding
