RE: kick out UTA AND UALR
I don't understand why the need to kick out basketball schools. Football only is the problem.

According to Wikipedia New Jersey Institute of Technology is in the Sun Belt for soccer but not football. Never heard of them. Is this a problem? I don't see it.

RE: kick out UTA AND UALR
I started this thread to point out that all the kicking programs out talk is counterproductive. Maybe the four partial members will eventually leave maybe not. How many conference message boards discuss kicking people out . Why invite schools hoping to kick them out.

No program in this conference is without warts.
The Sun Belt has no Alabama type program or even a member who has been ranked. Troy has the most history and I doubt the casual fan knows where Troy is located. Kicking out the four partial members would mean adding two. Those two would be Jackson St, EKU or Liberty. Since UMass is the only other option right now. Lobbying for JMU (looks down on SBC members academically) or Missouri St (does not seem to want to leave the Valley) is pointless.

Things may change the Valley losing members. JMU getting some new leadership. Those things will not happen overnight .

Why kick anyone out or at the very least why constantly talk about it. This is not directed at you and I know Idaho is most often the target. Kicking out football only members then what.

Why not kick out any program that is not all sports?
That is the logical next step Not want I want to be clear.
