Always amazes me how errors, unforced turnovers, fumbles, interceptions, happen against better teams. If we just did not this, or that we coulda won that game.

A fielder looking up on a routine grounder only to see the runner 3 steps from the bag causes errors. Hit and runs cause errors, every guy in the lineup being able to hit a triple off the wall or lay down a bunt cause errors. We have done it to every team all season long.

That presumes that situation is unique to playing the Cajuns and no one else on anyone's schedule is doing that.

So why have solid defensive teams consistently committed in characteristic errors when playing us? Why did your coach say exactly what we are saying? Why does our coach preach about our aggressive philosophy and putting pressure on defenses? I guess every weekend it's a coincidence that our opponents commit a lot of errors. What's makes it worse against us,is we more often than not make you pay for your mistakes. Also, I can tell you, there are not a lot of people that play the way these guys do.

Because other teams do not do it as well as the Cajuns. Ask your coach.

If Louisiana does not get a national seed I would figure it went to some SEC school.

They could have had a better record by having a bullpen that isn't struggling so much. We have no true closer that can come in and throw strikes and get outs, lately your stress level goes up when we have to depend on the bullpen to hold on to the lead the offense built.

Now if the opposing team gets on a rally, that's one thing, but when its walk after walk, throw a few wild pitches and hit by pitches in there and its very frustrating.

I promise you Coach Robichaux is very concerned with the Post Season coming up and the way the pen has been pitching.

The only teams that really beat the Cajuns by hitting was Alabama game 3, WKU game 1, and TXST game 2. People can bash me all they want, but Robichaux is saying the same thing being an ex-pitcher himself, it's driving him crazy.

I always fill bad for our starters that hold a team down for 7 innings and hangs on to the lead but his pitch count is getting up there, so you go to the bullpen to get the final outs, not just give the other team the game because no one can throw strikes.

They better get it together soon or we are going to have to build big leads to bail the bullpen out which should be the other way around.

Well, we donated you guys 7 runs last weekend with our top 25 defense. So we appreciate the help in the 7th.

if I was a Cajun fan, I would be glad I got out of there with two wins. If ASU doesn't screw up a bunt and give up 3 unearned runs, we win Friday.

Wow, well you coach doesn't seem to think that way! Clearly he thinks the Cajuns put pressure on the opponents defense. Of course our bullpen gave you a gift as well Sunday, using your mindset. I chose to believe Astate and UL found ways to win those games.

Oh theres no doubt you guys caused a few of them, but what bothered me was that a few of the critical errors were made on easy plays. For instance...our catcher made an error on a strikeout that just barely hit the dirt. He had all day...and for reasons I don't understand, just short armed the throw. Cost us two runs. Runner on first no outs in the 8th on Friday down 1, and with our best hitter on deck, all we have to do is drop down a simple bunt. Bunt gets popped up twice in a row and turns into a double play.

Another thing to note is that our coaches are great at excusing poor play. We were picked off four times against USA earlier in the year, twice in the 9th. and they just wrote it off as what happens when you are aggressive on the bases. A lot of times we write off what our coaches say about our own poor play because they just will not criticize a player openly who makes a mistake.
