Questions about Sun Belt baseball tournament
I understand only 8 teams make the tourney but is it 2 4-team groups with a single championship game between the 2 winners of each pod or is it 1 big 8 team DE tourney with a possibility of 2 championship games if the loser's bracket team forces an "if" game?

Thanks. Looks like 2 pods : Seeds 1, 4, 5 and 8 in 1 pod and Seeds 2,3, 6 and 7 in the other. 1 single championship game.

This is correct. Host team gets to choose game time on Day 1.

Wednesday: first round
Thursday: Winners and Losers play
Friday: 2 elimination games
Saturday: Pod Finals and If Necessary Games
Sunday: Sun Belt Championship Game

I have a lot more confidence in TXST's chances to make it to the championship than I did last year even though group 2 is gunna be competitive every single game.

You aint in Group Two yet. One of Texas State, ASU, and WKU is getting stuck in the Group of Cajun Death.
