Troy will open the 2015 season at N.C. State and travel to N.C. State in 2017.

I'd link the tweet, but my work computer is not that savy.

Home and HOMES. I assume that means 2 away, 1 at home?

Home and Home with Navy,Duke,Boise,NC State.....home and home home with Miss State

It's a 1 for 1.

This is great for Troy. I am hoping we can get a P5 to come to Paulson in the years to come. So far all we have at home for the next 2-3 years are FCS teams and Western Michigan and Kent St.

Question for SBC program's who have successfully scheduled a home game with an SEC or ACC team:
What is the official capacity of your Stadiums?

Is the magic number 30k?

If so, we need to hit that mark in quick form to get some SEC team or ACC team to Paulson. I just think that since most around here only really know those types of programs that THIS is what they are going to expect for our games. I seriously wish we didn't have Savannah State and even former SoCon teams on the slate for a while.

Nice score Troy. We can't even get NC State to schedule us without putting political pressure on their @$$es. Even with that it's only every three years. Beat 'em up for us!

Our official capacity is 30k but I think our stadium actually seats 33k.

We have hosted Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma State and We will host Duke this year...

I'm not sure if there's a size restriction.

So that means NC State isn't going to visit Troy. Hmm.

A typo.

I knew full well NC STATE will travel to Troy in 2017 but my hands (and my brain) typed it out wrong. Having to go to NC STATE twice or a 2 for 1 would not have been a huge deal.

Troy will travel to NC STATE in 2015 and NC will come to Troy in 2017. Hope that clarifies.

Sun Belt teams have really stepped up their game when it comes to scheduling.

We had Baylor in 2012 and have wake forest for the season opener this year and ULM's Malone stadium is around 31k.

You may want to send a thank you card to LSU. The tiggers canceled their home and home with NC State recently, so I guess they were scrambling to fill the void. Good pick for Troy with a drivable game.
