Exclamation SBNation (AAC Previews): The big 2014 Memphis football preview
The big "AAC preview" has started today by bill c at sbnation in "THE 128-TEAM CFB COUNTDOWN"

these are probably the most in-depth previews you'll get especially for non P5, he does it for every team in the fbs and started the AAC today. i always recommend these, if your a fan of a team and/or just want to get to know the league these are a good place to start. he'll have a new preview everyday for a different team till he's finished with everyone in our league

ps you can skip to the last section where he summarizes everything/projection , if you aren't a reader lol

The AAC needs a competitive Memphis. Hopefully its a breakthrough year --- just dont screw it up for Houston or the like.

The AAC needs THIS Memphis brand of football to return...

A fair assessment, IMHO.

Connolly's great, but Tank Jakes is a Memphis player, not a UCF player. Chris Martin recovered the fumble in the endzone to tie the game at 17, not Tank Jakes. If Jakes had recovered it, it would have been a touchback for Memphis.

Thanks pesik for sharing. This was a good and fair assessment of the 2014 Tigers. The program is moving along nicely under Fuente's guidance. The wins are surely coming, and for me and many other Tiger fans, they can't get here quick enough. Can't wait for the season to get here....GO TIGERS!!!!

Trips to Cincy, Ole-Miss, and UCLA will be tough.

Would be great to pull off a win on the road against one of those.

That would be an absolutely huge leap forward for Memphis football, if it happens.
