Must be a huge shock to App fans. You just have to remember what WKU went through and how they got past it in great shape.

Having a bad season the year before you start FBS play doesn't help. I'm sure APP will move up the rankings though.

Don't think I agree with that ranking at all. I think Idaho/NMSU would be below you (just off the top of my head).

I realize they have a lot of work to do putting these articles together for 128 schools, but leaving Marcus Cox, who might be the most talented RB in the Sun Belt next season, out of the section of our strengths is quite the oversight.

We're not the third worst FBS team in 2014.

I don't mind us having to prove ourselves again. We got to complacent and felt like we just needed to show up in order to win.

I hope it puts a big chip on our shoulders and gets us to work even harder in the off season. Could not be a better place to rank the team IMO.

I would bet the house that ASU and GSU will not be ranked that low. Easy money IMO. FIU at 125+ is understandable. Not quite as easy money, but I wouldn't expect much out of FIU this year.

I believe a new ranking comes out each day until a month before kickoff. May not have gotten to you yet.

Remember.....Louisiana was ranked LAST 3 years ago...and finished 9 and 4 with a N.O. Bowl victory over San Diego ST.....pre season rankings mean squat

I wouldn't be surprised to see us in the next 3 or 4 picks. I don't mind being ranked lower than I think we should be (which is probably how everyone will feel about their ranking).

Kind of expected it after last season. Hoping red shirting accounted for a lot of that, but still doesn't justify such a poor season. Still a shock seeing our new coaching staff not make more adjustments that would help last year. Would have helped tremendously to not play our all SoCon and all American QB so long. He just couldn't do certain things after off season surgery.

We sure timed that right, in a way, if we ever were going to have a bad season; and that had to be the worst season ever, except for beating GaSo of course.

FIU was ranked behind App State at 127th, not 125th.

Troy will probably be ranked in the 95 to 105 range. I don't think they'll finish that low.

Georgia Southern's win over Florida will give you guys a push in the early rankings.

I think our fanbase needs to realize what we did at the FCS level has no relevance now. We have gone from a big fish in a little pond to a little fish in a big lake. Life ain't what it used to be and it may comes as a shock to some of our fans.

That's why there is a plus sign. 125+ is an accurate statement as they are at 127.

take it with a grain of salt, the guy who came up the rankings probably, did about 5 minutes worth of analysis for any mid major team. Personally, we have some really good talent at certain positions, but depth is going to kill us, I think there is an outside shot we finish 500 in the SBC, and have a somewhat respectable season.
