La Tech grad transfer Merrill Holden told ESPN he is looking at UNLV, Cincy, Illinois, Alabama, Iowa St, Jacksonville and Central Florida.

Another PF. That said, I would rather have Gill over Holden. I don't want to have both of them together.

If these schools are listed in the order of preference, does that mean we're the front runner? I mean, who would he even be visiting at UNLV? They may disband their basketball program in the next few weeks.

I'll guess ECU where they become AAC Co-POY. Because...Cincinnati.

I might be thinking a little optimistically, but I think part of the reason for this is because they know that we are making room for someone else.

My guess is either Gottfried got on the horn to give his buddies the details, or not a whole lot of schools have two open spaces and want to have to take Cody for three years just to get Caleb.

It also looks like that they want to stay close to North Carolina. I mean ODU, ECU and Uncw.

I would say a lot of it is that they are a package deal. Anyone that takes them is putting 2 scholarships on the bench for a year.

I liked that highlight film. Looks more than serviceable.

Best game coming out of the JUCO ranks was 18 pts, 12 rebs, 3 blocks...played games and won against Ellis and DeBerry back in his lone JUCO season in 2014. Injured part of last season but then became a starter. 1 year of eligibility left...not a bad pickup for depth and experience.

Reportedly we had at least some interest in James Palmer, who has decided to transfer from Miami to Nebraska.
