Personally I hope Rhett comes here. A lot of you need to do some homework. Dude is a double double machine and elite rebounder. He, Shaq and Austin will rotate at the 4/5. Hawkins and King at the 3. Iverson can swing 2,3, or 4. Guards set at 1 and 2. Big Dom is going to have to get with it if Rhett shows up or he will be redshirting.

Let me be clear. All Tiger fans will be "ok" with Rhett coming here. he'd be a spark off the bench that has at least played basketball in D1 before. I doubt he'd garner minutes above Hawkins at the 4 though.
But face it, he wasn't even the most dominant player on a team that won 5 games last season! One of those wins was against something called "Fisk". Against the two high major teams that he played last season (Auburn and UTK), he averaged 10 and 4 in 30.5 minutes.
He'd probably see the court half that much here so he'd likely produce half that much. Are we really wanting a 5 and 2 guy to be the "focal point of our offense"? He wasn't even the focal point of the offense for terrible TSU. C'mon, this is insane.
EDIT: He did play Wichita St too, 16 and 11 in 39 minutes. Way better than his other two performances against "power teams".

Seems to have offers from several big time programs. Maybe they see something you don't?

A big part of what makes Rhett such an attractive commodity is how he performed against quality teams last season.
Tennessee: 14 points, five rebounds and three blocks.
Wichita State: 16 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks.
Belmont: 10 points and 19 rebounds.
Rhett wants to expand on that next season, and make a big-time splash in a major conference.
“I want to lead the conference in rebounding, or maybe even lead the nation in rebounding. Just continue to do what I do. Continue to defend, be on the All-Defensive team and All-Conference,” he said.
There are many things that make Rhett one of the elite rebounders in the country.
“My athleticism and agility. Even when I’m getting blocked out, I just try to spin and get around whoever it is and just get the ball. I rebound out of my area,” he said. “I got a good knack for the ball so I see where it’s going and just go up and get it.
I really think you have production mixed up with stats.....Stats are a measuring tool but lets not assume our players are consistently lighting the world on fire.....We need leadership;determination;hustle;toughness and tenacity all rolled into one....If we still had Tarik with the four guards...That would have been better than Shaq with limited offensive skills and reluctance to get physical from our bigs and attempt to own the paint;box-out and get rebounds or even attack the offensive glass for that matter......We need someone who's going to go and get it....and that has not been shown from our current front-court....MJ also has the ability to put the ball in the basket....Unlike someone who misses bunnies like he should be playing for FISK! You can be satisfied with the way our guys play in the post....But I'm a realist, and we need help!!!!!

That's all GR8, but you were saying he needs to be the focal point of our offense. As it stands though, Austin and Shaq both have better offensive skills than this kid, and Shaq rebounds better offensively. They both shot better than Rhett as well, so who has the ability to "put the ball in the basket" again?
If you put Shaq, Austin or Dom on that TSU team they're probably averaging 20 and 20 a night playing against the OVC.
