Not a bad trip in early March. Much better than CT.

You can't beat Orlando as a family destination...easy access for UCF and USF...amazing arena in Amway...not a bad idea.

at least it's actually a neutral site.

Didn't know Amway had their own center, that's pretty awesome. And you're right, that might be a great trip.

could be a good trip to see my brother and his kids. Have them drive down from Jacksonville. Hit some games and take the kids to some theme parks. Then maybe the wife and I slide over and take a short cruise.

Sounding pretty good.

Ten minutes from my house. I will be there. Just remember this is during spring break for a lot of schools and the parks are packed.

I think Orlando will do well in terms of attracting more fans from all schools and especially those that typically do not travel well.

Hope Coach Pastner teach the players multi-level marketing techniques before they play at Amway Center

RE: Orlando to host Men's B'ball tourney in 2016 and 2017
Orlando is great.

CT- purely due to location, not so much.

With that, the farthest flung CUSA school, UTEP hosted the tourney- only salvaged at all because UTEP made the final.

While Orlando is not central- it is Orlando, not CT in March.

(yes- NYC hosts the Big East tourney, but even still, they have a bunch of schools quite close...St. Johns, Seton Hall, Villanova, Providence, Georgetown...

I wouldn't worry about it. It's not a big convention town.

Was told years ago even if you go to the Orlando theme parks during the slower times, they cut down the number of lines available so there's still a wait, unless you pay extra for the fastpass. It's so expensive now, over $100 a day! Ouch!!

At Disney you don't pay extra for the fastpass.

you were told wrong.

fastpass is included with a ticket and when you go at off times, the lines are non existent for everything but the top 2 or 3 attractions and they are short lines.
