Ole Miss and Memphis will play in basketball again in 2015.

Ole Miss athletics director Ross Bjork told reporters at a Rebel Road Trip event in Memphis today that the two schools are scheduled to play in Memphis during the first two months of the 2015-16 season.

"It'll probably be a December-type game," Bjork said. "... They'll come to our place in the fall of '16."...

...The basketball series was not immediately scheduled, but it also calls for four meetings between the schools. Bjork did not explain the delay.

Memphis coming to Ole Miss in 2016 means the new basketball arena, currently under construction, will be in place....

Small school mentality. Accept long term damage for short term gain. You do this when you are NOT a major player and you need to play named schools.

I agree. This series does a lot more for them than it does for us. It plays right into their AD's strategy.

Apparently the basketball side of things isn't final yet ... football only so far.

we bought ellerbe beckett which had a sports design office in Kansas City.
