Yes. Live in Florida and the A/C has never 'stopped' working. What's ridiculous is how no one can explain how this happened. You live there I assume; what's the official reason they're saying there?

No, what's ridiculous is that you're the one who's so curious about why it went out, and yet I'm the one who had to find it for you.

So yes, someone did explain how it happened. I don't live in San Antonio btw. I live about 3 hours away right outside of Houston.

Thanks. Just thought you lived there.

$200 million arena and no spare circuit breakers for the a/c....ok.

How quickly we forget... At what some may consider the grand daddy of them all, the Super Bowl, they even had mechanical/electrical problems just two years ago at the Superdome in New Orleans when the power went out. The NHL has had two power outages during the playoffs before as well, one of them occurring in OT during the NHL Finals.

Mechanical failures sometimes happen at the worst time. It's a fact of life, and there isn't always an immediate remedy for it.

RE: OT: NBA Playoffs
I think it is kind of silly to think the Spurs conspired to turn off the AC and leave 20k fans in 80+ temps. All because they knew LBJ would cramp. Right.

The Spurs won game one because they had an unbelievable fourth quarter and Miami did not. The Heat won game two because LBJ had an incredible performance and the Spurs failed to execute down the stretch. It is that simple. This is a great series and I'm excited to see what happens in Miami.

P.S. my AC has failed multiple times in Miami. Good grief.

There's still conspiracy theories over why the AC went out in Game 1? EVERYONE played in the same conditions and it didn't seen to bother them, time to put this stupid argument to bed.

did you not watch the game? They explained it repeatedly during the broadcast. The breaker panel for the a/c system overheated shortly before tipoff and they couldn't get it replaced in time to get the a/c working.

Yeah and the A/C mysteriously going out in Game 1 was a pretty dirty trick on San Antonio's part. See how we can play this game........

Sure, the Spurs planned to do that because they knew ahead of time that Lebron's muscles would cramp up from the heat and not someone on the Spurs. Good grief, man. Some common sense is in order here. Both teams played under those conditions and both teams were equally likely of having a guy cramp up. In fact, with the age of some of the Spurs' stars, I was more worried that it was gonna be one of our players.

You wouldn't know common sense if it wipe your ass for you.

This.

I'd also throw foul trouble into the mix for things that killed the Spurs. No Ginobili or Leonard on the floor at the end of the second quarter prevented us from going on our customary pre-halftime spurt. I'm not sure LBJ gets quite so hot with the jumper if he didn't get so many open looks with Diaw on him in the third.

Lebron on Parker really kills our offense. I feel like we need to be up by double digits going into the fourth to pull of a win.

71 points at halftime. Never seen anything like that against a defense as good as the Heat.

With the revert back to the old 2-2-1-1-1 format, losing Game 3 isn't as big of a deal as the home team.

I think far too much is being made of the series layout. 2-3-2 just made no sense. I don't think it really had any effect on actually basketball, though.

Any loss at home in the playoffs is significant. The Heat just gave homecourt back to us. Granted, I don't think homecourt has been, nor will it be, much of a factor in this series.

I would expect Spo to make some adjustments and we'll get a Miami blowout in Game 4. These two teams are both so insanely good when things are really clicking or one of the coaches makes an adjustment that the other isn't prepared for.

I think you saw in the last game the need for the Spurs to build up a big lead. Once Lebron checks Parker late, our offense slows down so much. If we hadn't built up such a huge lead and gotten that little spurt to close out an otherwise horrendous third quarter, we would have been in trouble in the fourth.

This is a pivotal game for the Heat more so than the Spurs. If Kahwi has another monster game both on the offensive and defensive side, then I really like the spurs chances in game 4.
