Does anyone know whether or not the AAC hopes to someday have a championship game in football?

Next year when Navy joins.

Navy will join and I'm not worried about that. If they wanted to back out they would have announced that by now. I'd go nuts if we could land Air Force and Army to make 14. That would be a real American conference. Can you imagine if the so-called P5 tried to pull away from all the service academies?

NRG, AT&T, & Superdome are all great places to have it.

But I really like the whole new orleans thing, with the culture and just the look is really really appealing. & come on the superdome is like the football version of MSG.

I can imagine that just as easily as I can imagine it with the rest of the G5. And I really doubt the service academies would care all that much. They exist in their own, insular world --- like the Ivies.

I love the Superdome idea.
So we are waiting until 2015 when we will hopefully have 12 programs?
Atlantic Seaboard division (U. Conn Temple Navy East Carolina and the Floridians)
Heartland division of UC Memphis Tulane Tulsa & Texas 1&2.

Wonder how many we could actually convince to travel to a neutral site. We can take a decent crowd to some bowl games, but not sure if we'd travel well for a CCG

I would rather have Rice as a full member than to have Navy as a football only.

East: UCF, Cincinnati, Connecticut, East Carolina, USF, and Temple
West: Houston, Memphis, Rice, SMU, Tulane, and Tulsa.
