Watching the Grizz heat game, when are we gonna get rid of that 80's style jumbotron?

At the time it was built it was the largest indoor jumbotron in the NBA.

I believe I read the same thing a couple months back on one of the sports reporters Twitter. All the 90's tube tv's on the concourses will be replaced (isn't it amazing flat screens weren't around when the FEF was built) as well as a new center hanging scoreboard. I love the old school 'hustle stat boards' they brought over from The Pyramid. Simple and basic. In fact I wish they'd add 2 more to the corners that don't have them. Hope those stay for sure.

The Pyramid was an 80s style scoreboard.

yes. there were quite a few of "back of house" changes planned as well as a new jumbotron and they were cut with the new ownership group.

Daktronics isn't 80's style anything.

Last night was one of the loudest crowds I have heard at a Grizzlies game.

It is amazing how much difference 10 years is in technology.

He did I thought, but the problem is, if it's a massive crowd (think the JT concert or the Game Day crowd this year vs. Gonzaga), the service putters out.

on a normal game day, "grizzfi" works fine for me.
