I have always respected ECU and their fans. I will continue to root for you guys in the future as long as you're not facing the Niners. Us non-ACC schools have to stick together. ha

Best of luck to ECU in the AAC. With your current line up, you'll be the team I pull for in that conference, so give 'em a jolt and win the football championship in the Fall. (Also very happy to hear we'll be back together on the field in a few years for the 50th anniversary. Very fitting game that we are together on that day.) 95% of your fans and posters have been well informed, passionate fans for the Pirates. We'll miss those posts a lot.

USM and ECU have history together.......long before Cusa. I will be pulling for USM to rebound in football and be the flagship for Cusa.
We will take SJ but there are couple of others that think they speak for Cusa, never wrong, and all yours........) Good luck with those, too.

Man, I was going to wait to post something similar, but Whitey beat me to it. After growing up watching Pirate sports in the CAA while independent in football, we joined C-USA my senior year in school. I can remember how happy I was to be in a conference for football. I then remember, after school, when we got the nod for all sports. C-USA has been very good to the Pirates. I've enjoyed countless rivalries with conference schools through the years, even though the conference has undergone some major changes since its inception.

I wish nothing but the best for C-USA in the future. I will always pull for C-USA. I was taught by my parents and grandparents to "never forget where you came from." That is sage advice. Good luck to everyone moving forward!
