RE: Best Case
Uh, really putting USA in a division with Troy, Ga State, Ga Southern, Liberty, and App is somehow a best case?

For USA's bowl bid eligibility, sure.
For USA's fans. No.

I found that puzzling, to say the least.

They'd all be eastern teams! USA proved to be really tough last year and Georgia Southern beat Florida. APP and Georgia Southern will get to the level they need to be very quickly. They also will play two cross-over games with the west.

The options are Liberty...JMU...which needs to get the ball rolling or EKU which needs a couple of years at best. So among those three...Liberty is doing the right things to be prepared.

JMU is obviously the best-prepared candidate and it's not even close. Just because they are taking a little time coming to grips with their options and Liberty is desperately shouting from the rooftops their desire to move up doesn't mean the Flames are the better option.

Wanting to be in the belt to luke-warm...not sure if...makes a big difference.

1. Add Missouri State and get this coveted school...Football can wait until 2015.

2. Add New Mexico State's oly sports

3. Add Liberty...as they may now have the votes.

4. Add Massachusetts as football only.

Football

East

Appalachian State
Georgia Southern
Georgia State
Liberty
*Massachusetts
South Alabama
Troy

West

Arkansas State
*Idaho
Louisiana Lafayette
Louisiana Monroe
Missouri State (2015)
New Mexico State
Texas State

Olympic Sports

Appalachian State
Arkansas State
Arkansas Little Rock
Georgia Southern
Georgia State
Liberty
Louisiana Lafayette
Louisiana Monroe
Missouri State
New Mexico State
South Alabama
Texas Arlington
Texas State
Troy

With this makeup and a little time the Sun Belt will shine!

Keep it simple and add James Madison and you are done. When did Missouri State become a "coveted school"?

James Madison has had ample time to make it's intentions known...time to move on! They can wait for the next ship to arrive. Missouri State has been coveted since the 1990's...longer than Texas State was even a thought.

Ill glady be behind Mizzou State. As long as it keeps the Flamers, far far away.

[Cringing] MO State, MSU, Missouri State, but...please, God...don't call us "Mizzou State." It's hard to explain the hatred we have for the school in Columbia, MO. The best I can describe it would be calling A-State "U of A- Jonesboro."

No disrespect to you at all, asupatch - thanks for throwing us some love!

Every time I see Missouri State, I want to call you guys Missus State.

It really has nothing to do with the school, it's athletics, it's fans, or anything. Just the way my mind reads it when I see it typed.

How is it not even close? Seriously, what are the factors that put JMU THAT far ahead of Liberty?
