Thursday nite games on the road were good for the Cajuns last year. Good luck to everyone.

I'm betting the most happy about this schedule are the TxState fans who will have a pile of Cajuns tailgating on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in October in San Marcos.

Just think of the Cajun cookin' you guys are going to be able to mooch.

I believe we had 2 nationally televised games in 2012, but they were both playoff games (ODU and NDSU on ESPN2). Correct me if I'm wrong someone.

Really, the only time we were on national TV were playoff games. Money games were only televised locally. I know of one exception being the Huge Bowl in 1989 vs MTSU. That was ESPN, I believe.

We are giving the pro-FCS crowd less and less to cheer about. If we continue winning, they will cease to exist.

Well that would be getting things started early. Start tailgating on Saturday for a Tuesday night game. I like the way you think.

You might want to go to the Troy game instead of the App State game. Wouldn't want you driving a long distanced PO'd with a hangover.
App has never lost on the U. 6-0. Has won the last three against Georgia Southern. Would not want you having any wrecks.

well luckily we are used to breaking your win streaks.

Only when we are beat up and ranked #1 though. Guess Michigan could leave some walking wounded, so there is hope for you.

RE: Thursday and Wednesday Sun Belt Games Announced
Although it's always nice being on ESPN, I have to say I'm glad we'll miss it this year. So many midweek games the last couple of years throws off attendance and your regular game prep, so the ticket office and coaches will probably appreciate keeping a weekend schedule this year. I wonder if teams can ask the league for this, or if it's strictly an ESPN call?

ODU was noon on ESPN and was the highest rated FCS game of the year
NDSU was Friday night primetime and was like 2nd highest rated of the year I think.

This will be the first game in the history of the series with Instant Replay. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I'm not going to sit here and blame the refs, but there have been plays that should have gotten a second look.
