Not too surpised. Would have liked for him to stay though. I still think Aubrey Williams will be following him

He must be going D2, because I couldn't see someone sitting out 2 straight years.

And I wonder how long it will take for someone to say that Lemons transferring is a sign that something is wrong with program, TK is not a good coach, etc.

Lemons to transfer
Much easier to replace someone who isn't an offensive threat.

Defense is all about effort and the guys who are playing the large minutes can work on that. Can't teach scoring.

RE: Lemons to transfer
Not sure that there was really a spot for him on this team? Especially if Stokes signs his LOI and come here...I think Stokes would become Juice's back-up. I do hope Lemons lands someplace where he can play & be happy. I agree that it would likely be a lower level, given both that he's already sat the past season, and his offensive skills were not the strong part of his game.

Curious to find out more about the other recruit we recently offered from Florida...perhaps a replacement for Hall if he isn't eligible?

Dude, you spend way too much time worrying about what others think. If they want to complain, then so be it. Some people deal with things that way in sports. You just make it worse by always complaining about the complainers.

If you are pinning your hopes on criticism of TK's transfers based on the Cross experience, I suspect you may be waiting a while. TK has greatly improved the performance on the court so he gets a pass, whereas Cross was an unmitigated disaster from virtually every perspective and therefore was fair game for criticism on all fronts .

In sports, performance on the field or on the court trumps all other considerations. Always remember the famous Vince Lombardi quote regarding winning.

That player sort of reminds me of #32 in this video...whoever that kid is.

OK, I'll bite, at least partially. I think TK would be a better coach if he valued defense more. Because of TK's emphasis on scoring, Lemons was not a good fit for the program.

There, was that enough to raise your blood pressure, MBG?

RE: Lemons to transfer
I would rather have him on the bball team. Football just needs to throw the ball to the TE whomever that may be. Ryan Autello's tweet has indicated there is likely another transfer to come. After clicking Reyes' page at verbalcomit.com, scroll down, there is a C, PF they are recruiting, no offer yet. Cullen Russo (juco)

No big loss on Lemons, he wouldn't have seen that much playing time anway.

RE: Lemons to transfer
I think Sammis Reyes Video looks pretty good, nice athletic ability, good court vision, nice passing, good handles and nice touch. Also, a really good offer list. High School Senior who physically looks like a college player means not waiting two or three years for him to physically mature. We just got beat in the NIT with a player of similar size we couldn't stop. I think this guy and the point guard Stokes are great additions if they happen. And fill weaknesses at PG and An athletic PF. JD is great, but gets pushed around way too much, more of a slasher than a post. Boothe much better out of low post facing basket, and Garber needs to move his dorm to the weight room.

I understand what you are saying but I doubt he'd like to spend his career blocking.

From sammis' s video, he appears to be a man-sized talent. We get pushed around too much. Kid appears solid in body and talent.

i don't care if it means keeping angel aparicio and his bad knees, ncaa complications and phantom jumpshot around for another decade - sign this kid!

He is legit. Big, multi-skilled, bouncy, aggressive, plays with his head up. If he had another inch and a half he'd be a 4 star recruit.

I just found it funny last year when Coach Peden & AT left, and Reese quit, some people were saying that something is wrong with TK and the program is in trouble because people keep leaving, etc., etc.
