UT beat TXST 5-1 rough day for the bobcats against an always tough 14th ranked team from Austin. It gave their coach the most wins in NCAA history with 1,894. Pretty impressive, luckily I got to watch them play on TV for my birthday but it's good thing I was to drunk to care they lost lol.

I know you seem to think Hennon is not a great coach but I can't agree with you. In baseball a guy does not get to 600 wins in 15 seasons by being a poor coach so I would suggest if you think you can do a better job go apply for his position.

The UT whammy bit us in the butt again last night. Not saying we would have won because we couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, but an inning ending DP in the first turned into 4 outs and more runs for them

I watched the first couple of innings, not a pretty sight. Your pitchers simply could do nothing right, give up hits, or walks. Ouch, sometimes best thing is to pretend it never happened. Clearly your boys did a lot better as the game progressed.

Our 4th starter has been on IR. Senior. He's expected back this weekend.

ASU Jumps out to a 3-0 lead in the 1st inning against Missouri State. This is a battle between the back half of our pen and the front half of thier's, so I don't really know what to expect.

Down 5-3 in the 7th. They went to one of their top pitchers in the 1st inning, and he has completely shut us down. Meanwhile we are starting three non regulars, and haven't thrown a pitcher yet who has appeared in a league game.

RE: SBC Baseball 3/25-26/2014
We scored a run in the 9th, and got the tying run to 3rd with 2 outs, but their 2nd basemen made a diving play to save a run and end the game.

Missouri State wins 5-4. We split our midweek, which is okay. Nothing wrong with it considering our two Freshman relievers combined for 9 scoreless innings of relief.

On to Texas State

After falling behind early by a field goal, Cajuns come back to defeat Southern 17-3.

I was stressing out for the Cajuns game because I was watching the weather radar which showed rain. I was hoping we wouldn't still be behind and they would call the game.

When we scored in the bottom of the 4th to tie it at 3, I felt a little better, but a tie against Southern would have hurt us bad.

So it was nice the rain held off long enough for us to explode for 14 runs, 7 runs in the 7th and 8th to win 17-3.

Yeah those two TDs (and PATs) we scored in the 7th and 8th were a big relief.

Wait what sport is this again?

Doesn't mean much. Much like the 30 win thing folk were championing until last year. Winning 30 is barely over .500. Considering we play way more home games than road games, the fact that many Socon schools don't offer the max scholarships, and our history, that doesnt impress me. The fact that the Socon is a 3 bid league and we cannot get an at large speaks volumes

Of late the Cajuns have been in the habit of falling behind early and then using superior pitching and hitting to pull it out in the later innings. I wish they'd stop doing that or it's gonna bite 'em in the a$$ eventually.
