He shot close to 50% from three. That is incredible.

Haase has quietly built one helluva recruiting class. One more, unless he sits on that scholly to space things out. I'd rather see a juco big, but I trust this staff.

Man, what a welcome change to our recruiting this is.

We really need a juco or transfer to balance the classes out. Losing 5 great players in one year is bad enough, but losing 6 could really set us back for a while. This is assuming Lee doesn't leave early for the nba :)

Very impressive.

The most encouraging thing when looking at our recruiting class is we got commitments from players who had solid d1 offers from many good programs. Something that can't be said for recruits that came in the years prior to Haase.

I would add another positive in that these guys are freshmen. As promising as things are with them as freshmen, I can only imagine what things we can achieve by the time these guys are seniors (assuming they all stay).

The last PG we got from Illinois worked out pretty well for us...

Losing 5 great players in one year?????

I want the whole class to be freshmen. Jucos are quick fixes. As we saw UK beat WSU. The best overall talent won. It's gueye, gustys, Garrett or nobody for me. Well, actually Tevin glass is the only juco I'd be after.

Uab basketball could use a quick fix. We've sucked for 3 years now.

4 jucos this past season wasn't enough to win games. I don't want anymore. It's lazy recruiting. Go fight for the best talent. Not leftovers in the juco ranks. They've been working on the 2014 class since they stepped on campus. Finish it with all freshmen. This class will springboard Haase to a bigger job. When he leaves, the new coach will have six spots to work with. Instead of leftovers from the previous coach for 2 years.

And those jucos have been the best players on our team the past two years. It wasn't really them holding us back.

Washington and Frazier were good gets. That's all I'll say about that.

Best players on our team last year in order: Frazier, Washington, Rucker, foz, Williams, swing

Who exactly was it holding us back? Not the jucos. There are a ton of great juco players. You don't have to be a 4 year player to have talent

Our team lost a lot of games because we shot 41.7% (301st in the country) from the floor. Has nothing to do with JUCO vs freshmen. 3 of the seniors shot 37% this year. You don't win many games shooting 37%.

As a result of coaching, the Davis leftovers weren't given a chance this season to contribute. Purifoy was benched for who knows what.

Best to worst. Regardless of who played.

Obviously I didn't list it totally based on who made the most contributions.

That's ridiculous to say never go after jucos. Some of our best players of the past decade were jucos. Squeaky, Taylor twins, Marvette, sanders.. Frazier will be up there if he improves on the offseason and Washington is a good player too
