Watching a couple minutes of this game is why I hate the Women's tournament so much. First round upsets are extremely rare, and the announcers seem genuinely shocked every time the game is close.

You're right chief. The top teams always seem to win. There just isn't as much parity in women's ball. And the announcers on these games are usually bad. This game is no exception. One of the announcers in this game called WKU "Louisville" a few minutes ago...
WKU still hanging tough.

Very proud of my WKU girls! They played Baylor tough until the end. Love the direction our new coach has the program headed

I'll admit I have not watched the Lady Toppers much since MTC took them in the wrong direction. Michelle Clark-Heard has this team doing a 180. Noble, Gooch & McGee looked terrific and as 518 said made Baylor work for the win.
Next year with Noble, Gooch, Govan, and good bunch of recruits this team will contend for sure in CUSA.

We lose 2 seniors, but return our starting five. Plus, Alexis Govan will be healthy for the entire season. Add our solid incoming recruiting class (Highlighted by Ivy Brown who is rated the 73rd best player in the country coming out of high school) and next season looks very promising.
I was very impressed with the play of Kendall Noble this season.
We could see a starting line-up of Micah Jones, Kendall Noble, Alexis Govan, Chastity Gooch, and Ivy Brown. That is a very solid starting five. Plus, we will have more depth next season.
