Texas St will be playing.

Its newish tourney with App St winning the first one in 2010. I assume its pay to play.

A lot of people criticize these things and some schools turn them down. But I think whether or not you should go to one is different for each school. Seems like a good idea for TXST. Go win it!

I'm happy for them. Coach Z has really turned the team around and this is a great reward. Keeps players happy and, who knows, it may help recruiting. PLus it'll give the girls tourney experience that they can hopefully use in the future.

I agree. It has been some long here at Ga. Southern since our men or women have been to any postseason tourney that I would hope if we had a chance to play in ANY postseason tourney next year we take the opportunity, even if it cost money to do it.

Win that one too. SBC for the sweep. WKU only has to beat Baylor.

I don't expect much. Our administration is very unlikely to bid a ton to host any games. In previous years...we would bid a ton and host...but we've stopped that.

We play at UTEP on Friday in round 1.

Well SFA has beaten TXST 56 out of 67 meetings. So yeah that'll be interesting.

I remember when sfa girls were the best in texas and drew large crowds of fans for games..they probably have a winning record against a lot of schools..

SFA also isn't the perennial top-25, Sweet 16 team they were once either.

Texas State loses 59-51. Bobcats had a second half lead but SFA went on a run. Bobcats closed the gap to 4 witha minute left but couldn't finish it off.
