App State has this game circled. Texas State doesn't.

That's the rationale.

You think not? You really think we want to lose to you guys as a 3rd yr FBS vs a transitional after we beat you in the playoffs? Think again.

Okay ... App's circle is bigger, red, and with lots of stars and glitter.

Very year is different. The top 3 are usually never the same from one year to the next.

You got that right.
Most years, there's only a td or two separating the top from the middle.

While you are absolutely correct, it is relatively safe to say the Cajuns will be near the top of the conference. They are returning almost all (might be all) of their coaches and most of their starters.

It's no guarantee, but I would say the odds are the Cajuns will be at least as good as last season.

stAte is a different animal as they have a new coach. But they've shown historically that they can not only survive coaching changes, but maintain a high level of play.

Not sure why that's ridiculous. We had our losing season in 20+ years and still won by 24 over GS, and it wasn't even that close. Not too mention, we're much more familiar with the Georgia Southern offense than you all are which gives us a pretty significant advantage there.

Once Jerick McKinnon went down, it was a perfect storm of being deflated, being away in a raucous stadium, and several weeks of embarrassment and frustration on App's end being let loose.

And "our" offense went with Monken to West Point. We should look more like Auburn's offense from this past year.

We are not playing Georgia Southern.

I originally had Texas State as more difficult than South Alabama...but the way USA came on at the end of the year...I have flipped those two teams from my original post.
