This is exactly what I was hoping Toledo would do. Every year serious talent is left on the table at the QB spot.

As much as we have issue with some play calling, etc.. the coaches are really working hard to fill what is needed.

What I like about this QB (Thanks for posting the videos):

1) He has a game presence - He knows where to go with the ball when on the run.
2) He is tough - Film shows him delivering the ball on target as he is being hit and has escapability.
3) Very athletic - Toledo will be tough to defend with his abilities
4) Nice arm - He can thread the needle and can make the throws - Seems to have a nice touch on short passes even on the run

Isn't this the 2nd or 3rd recruit we've signed after signing day? Anyone know where thes schollys came from? I thought we already "over-recruited" a little?

He throws it well. Looks like he would snap right into our offense.

Gibson was rated higher than Travis Smith by several of the services.

I like it that he has a 3.6 GPA.

This kid is gonna be huge for Toledo! He was at 1 point ranked the #21 PP-QB in the Nation...he has a nice frame (6'3 200lbs) and he can sling the rock! He is very accurate on the move and in the pocket. I was reading and article last week about how he broke 8 school records in 1 game his JR YEAR. They lost the game 56-49, but he was 34-46 503YDS 7TDS 1INT. If he can produce just a little bit of that for Toledo, I think we may be in good hands the next 3-5 years!!! He played in one of the richest states last year when it comes to talent, and he was able to put up big numbers all 3 years as a starter. I've seen him play multiple times, and he is as good as advertised.

That's pretty impressive.
