I honestly didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Typical SBC refs, there were calls on both teams that were questionable. The last foul on Long seemed phantom but they didn't show it again. Offensive rebounds by ULL is what did the Panthers in.

As this basketball season has progressed, I've had a harder and harder time discerning when you're being genuine and when you're just heckling us, but I do appreciate the sentiment. I'm proud of my Panthers (and of the passion shown by ALL Panther fans this year, even if it does shade your online view of us).

Agree Panthers are going to be a major factor in basketball in this league going forward. Great team and great coach.

it was sincere but glad i can keep folks guessing. hell......i singled you and panther out for condolences. both of you came across as guys that follow and love their hoops.

and both have represented well on this board imo. but some of your guys took baggery to new levels before the tourney. ya'll had the best team all year but i've watched hoops too long and know that other squads gel at the end of the year and anything can happen come tourney time.

i think ga state can build something special as long as jesse....i mean ron hunter is there. when/if he leaves it all depends on the next hire.

as an older guy listen when i say to enjoy every good year because they're never all good. go kick some @ss in the nit and use it to build for a strong preseason next year.

GaSt is a great addition to the league. It did seem that a few of their fans on here were getting a little too cocky. I've seen enough Sun Belt tourney's to know that the best team during the season often doesn't win the tourney. Next time they should wait until the tourney is over before "beating their chests" about how great a team they are. It does suck for them that they get a bad seed in the NIT as well. ULL got as good a seed as could be expected.

Ive been known to dust off a few vag's in my day and maybe if yours wasn't so sandy I might just dust that one off too. Being a sore winner is worse than being a sore loser.

It's only genius when it works. It's honestly a big motivator for your team, however it's not something that should have been known about at any point before the game was over, cause all you do is pour fuel on the fire for the opposing team.

It's kind of like when we played @ #2 William and Mary in the playffs in 2010...their sports admin told all of our athletics support staff and media to return our parking passes because they would need them next week. That information definitely made it into the locker room before kickoff and we proceeded to run them out of their own stadium.

I won't go as far to as to say this type of stuff is classless, but you definitely have to be careful. It can backfire on you in a hurry.

I'm not trying to mean. But, for the 3rd time GSU and ULL will not have a rivalry. No GSU fan will even care to have a rivalry with ULL. Accept it.
