As I thought Louisiana is a #14 and opens vs. #3 Creighton. I think this is a winnable game for Louisiana.

The Tourney is so weak this year that even the lowly SoCon got a 15 seed for a team not named Davidson.

That really surprised me too. The SoCon was like 4th from the bottom in conference rankings this year.

There's no rivalry. We have beaten you in football and your precious basketball. You guys are the stuff we scrap off our tires at the end of the year. We will be out of the Bolt soon. After that, I wish Georgia State the best.

You haven't beaten us in anything yet-- I am a Georgia Southern fan. And as for leaving the Sun Belt go ahead.

I agree, there is no rivarly. Never has, never will. I want nothing to do with something called a ULL. You couldn't pay me to visit Lafayette, LA. 03-lmfao03-lmfao

I do believe I said "State" not "Southern". Pickup hooked on phonics. It may help you. Then again, you can't teach a stone to do tricks.

You assume we all live in Lafayette. We are a national university. Our campus isn't a bunch of abandoned buildings in a major city. Our alumni are all over the place. Don't come to Lafayette. It's your loss. I love the place an would move back in a heartbeat. There's no such place as ULL.

Had to take a break from basketball coverage for a while after that one. That hurt.

Looks like this thread has about the percentage of folks showing their asses that I expected. So I guess all is right with the world.

Great championship game, at any rate. To the Cajun fans acting like adults, may your team make a nice run! To the Cajun fans being douches...well, enjoy, I guess...I guess that's how you like to be a fan.

I don't understand the hostility from Louisiana90 Georgia State would make a good basketball rivalry especially with WKU leaving. As far as football we were there once they will only get better. We won the conference tournament lets not be butts because I would have hated it if they won and act like that. Lets act like we've been to the dance before. Cajun fans had one hell of a week and having a great athletic year but until (if ever) we get an invite to leave we are Belt members and need to respect each other. (ok off my box now)

I was thinking the Canadian Football League. We could represent Quebec.

We'll said. I mentioned before that Payton was a hell of a player and I wish you guys the best in the tourney.

Thank you and you guys have one heck of a team. Hunter scares me every time he touches the ball his release is so quick and deadly. You have a great shot at getting into the NIT, had we lost I'm not so sure we'd get in. Best of luck in whatever happens to your team.
